The Collegium

CORLAS (Collegium Oto-Rhino-Laryngologicum Amicitiae Sacrum) was created in 1926, in Groningen (the Netherlands) at the initiative of Charles Emile Benjamins and Adriaan De Kleyn.

Determination and sense of humility both come to light in this picture of Benjamins, the first General Secretary of CORLAS (1926-1940), riding his motorised bicycle on the way to the University Hospital of Groningen in 1936.
